Crystal Cruises set a “Mind, Body & Spirit” theme for Crystal Symphony’s first cruise of the New Year, the 12-day, Jan. 5 cruise from Melbourne to Brisbane, Australia. The voyage will feature health and wellness experts leading complimentary classes and seminars. Savings of $3,000 per person is offered to those who book by Aug. 31.
Guest experts include adventure racer and Seven Summits mountaineer Marshall Ulrich; Dr. Martin Lee, founder of the Tai Chi Institute; and yoga instructor Lisa Goodwin.
During the two days in each of the eastern territories’ biggest cities -- Melbourne, Victoria; Adelaide, South Australia; Brisbane, Queensland; Hobart, Tasmania; and Sydney, New South Wales -- travelers can commune with koalas, rock climb Blackman’s Bay, hike to the top of Sydney Harbor Bridge, or take an aerobatic G-Force 4 flight.
With the $3,000 savings, Book Now fares start at $2,730 per person, double occupancy, which is under $230 per person per day for a cruise that includes alcoholic and soft drinks and gratuities. Other cruises with the “Mind, Body & Spirit” themes in 2013 include the Jan. 4 Caribbean voyage roundtrip from Miami and a Feb. 23 Southeast Asia sailing from Bali to Singapore.
